Fotos de Andorra

We got to Andorra late on Friday night. The hotel was pretty nice, but our room was the only one they forgot to prepare. No towels, no sheets, cigarettes in the ashtray, trash in the bin...basically exactly as it was left. After about a 20 min. battle with the guy at the front desk, he finally caved and handed us sheets and 3 facial towels. The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and headed to the slopes. The slope was called VallNord and was only accessible via cable car. It snowed the entire day and the wind at the top got pretty intense at times, but it was tolerable and the views were incredible. That night, the hotel served us a three course dinner and we returned to a fully cleaned and stocked hotel room. We then went out to a bar for a couple drinks, but didn't stay too long because we wanted to rest up for the next day's skiing. The second day of skiing we had great weather, sunny the entire day which made for some great pictures. We also had a good snow the night before, so there was abundant fresh powder (wayyyy better than anywhere I've ever skied on the east coast). After skiing, we went back to the hotel and changed, got on the bus, and headed back to BCN. All in all, a great weekend.

Andorra

Well, we´re off to Andorra this weekend for a ski trip through the University. I´m not sure about you, but before coming to Spain, I didn´t even know Andorra existed. Andorra is a tiny country situated between Spain and France in the Pyrennes mountains. Andorra boasts the second highest life expectancy in the world and is the only country whose official language is Catalan. We leave tonight (Friday) at 8pm and will come back late on Sunday. Be on the look-out for some trip pics soon!
